Job Title: Business Administrator Location: 77 S. High St. 27th floor, Columbus, OH, 43215 Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. on w2 without benefits Duration: 1+ Months Working Hours: 40.00 hrs./ week Position Description: Reviews, analyzes, evaluates & interprets Minority Business Enterprise &/or Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity, Women Business Enterprise &/or Veteran-Friendly Business (MBE/EDGE/WBE/VBE) programs certification application information/data to determine whether or not company is eligible to participate in MBE/EDGE/ WBE/VBE programs. May independently travels statewide to conduct onsite reviews at business facilities; interviews business owner(s) & other key staff to collect pertinent business operational data; reviews & analyzes company records (e.g., tax forms, board minutes, stock certificates, leasing documents & operational records) Analyzes & investigates irregularities in documents submitted by businesses for program participation; Completes associated documents & forms; recommends to team leader or manager eligibility of business for certification into MBE/EDGE/WBE/VBE programs. Knowledge of: Agency Policies & Procedures (e.g., Standard Operating). Business Structures & Types, Government Structure & Process (e.g., MBDD). Public Relations. Human Relations. Interviewing. EEO Laws & Regulations. Required Skills: Operation of personal computer & associated hardware/software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce), Equipment Operations (e.g., computer, telephone); Ability to: obtain & maintain valid driver's license & operate motor vehicle. define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw technical conclusions. calculate fractions, decimals & percentages. handle sensitive inquiries from state agency representatives, business owners & general public. prepare statistical reports & maintain records, gather, collate & classify information about data, people & things. work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
