Description

Robert Half Full-Time Professional is growing rapidly and searching for a talented full-time Bookkeeper to join our team in the Columbus, OH market! The bookkeeper will be responsible for assisting our clients on a project basis. This position offers you a great work/life balance, excellent benefits and considerable career advancement opportunity with exposure to multiple industries and different business processes. With this position this bookkeeper will be working as a stand-alone bookkeeper for small businesses or working on specialized projects for larger businesses. Previous success in fast paced and dynamic environments with a "get it done mindset" are a must for this position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • General ledger management

  • Accounts payable processing

  • Accounts receivable processing

  • Collections

  • Journal entries and adjustments

  • Some payroll processing

  • Heavy reconciliations

  • Month-end close

  • Audit preparation

Requirements

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting/Finance is a plus

  • 3+ years of accounting experience

  • Experience with 2 software packages: QuickBooks, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards

  • Experience in at least 2 industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, CPA firm,, Non-profit, Property Management, Healthcare, Construction

  • Payroll processing is a plus

  • Desire to learn, stay challenged and be self-motivated

  • Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros are a plus
