Instrumentation Journeyman

Expectations:

  • Must comply with all company Safety policies at all times

  • Oversee apprentices as well as provide guidance and leadership.

  • Plan layout and installation of new metering ,controlling and recording devices extending or connecting electrical circuits.

  • Trouble shoot test electrical systems using required testing equipment

  • Reads and interprets wiring diagramsand mechanical Drawings

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards and defects

  • Able to install Tubing using proper tools

  • Coach, train, and evaluate employees and guide them toward goal achievement.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What is Required ?

  • 2-3 Years of full time experience installing instrumentation

  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License

  • Computer Skills

  • Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check

  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
