Duties and Responsibilities: Direct team members of a large manufacturing area to attain maximum product quality and customer satisfaction. Supports the training, motivation, and safety of Team members and representatives. Distribute work assignments to team members/representatives in accordance with the production objectives. Responsible for meeting daily production goals, including safety, quality, scrap, labor efficiency, and housekeeping. Initiates personnel actions, including performance evaluations, promotions, transfers, disciplinary measures, etc., in accordance with PEC values, guidelines, and procedures. Prepares meaningful reports/analyses for management. Lead and participatein process improvement efforts such as PPS, which includes 5S, effective corrective actions for repetitive quality issues, PQI initiatives, line damage audits, scrap reduction teams, gatekeeper program, defects per unit (DPU) reduction, Kaizen events, and outsourcing opportunities. Supports new production implementations. Engages associates in goals, continuous improvements, projects, etc.

Education and Experience: B.S. degree preferred. 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a team environment. 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt trained preferred. Flexibility to work any shift required. Long-term leadership goals for executive leadership. Possess data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to function equally well as a team leader. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, SAP experience a plus.
