This is a Senior Electrical/Avionics Engineer position with a company in Columbus, MS.

Summary: Airbus Helicopters is looking for an SR. Electrical/ Avionics Engineer to join our Engineering department based in Columbus, MS. Set up Procurement activities of one or several products/services, packages/suppliers, secure the contractual framework of suppliers with the Company and provide the best purchasing conditions for the Company. This position is located in Columbus, MS.

Responsibilities: Design wiring diagrams, harness drawings and system architecture. Review and facilitate engineering package release. Can lead groups of engineers to complete projects along with representing the group at management meetings. Works independently with minimal direction from Engineering Management. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting company objectives.

Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of six (6) years of directly applicable engineering experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing or completions environment.
