PACCAR Inc Materials Business Analyst SG 24 in Columbus, Mississippi

This is a Materials Business Analyst (SG 24) position with a company in Columbus, MS.

Summary: The Materials Business Analyst supports the Materials team's business processes, applications & software, data analysis and reporting and various issues, requests, enhancements or projects.

Responsibilities: Analyze procurement data for raw materials to optimize MRP planning to meet inventory level targets. Analyze and optimize standard and custom reports supporting engine demand planning and MRP planning to reach on time delivery targets. Coordinate with Traffic Department on third party reporting and dashboard to align procurement data in SAP. Create and maintain visual dashboards using various data sources to support Material Planning metrics and reporting. Support Material planning team and local IT to prioritize, refine and support IT tickets and requests. Support annual and global regression testing requirements for various support systems (SAP, MES, etc.) Analyze and optimize exception processes for team and integrate with current business processes. Support local and corporate IT teams on Capital projects for system support for Material Planning business processes. Review SAP Error Logs for various planning processes and support to correct Issues. Support EDI onboarding to onboard all vendors to full EDI transmission.

Qualifications: Experience with SAP or other MRP / ERP system required. Experience with SAP HANA sidecar, SQL and/or other databases required. Support for PPS, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Training. Support Project Management Team to ensure on time Delivery for Project Parts. Candidate must be able to operate independently and with little guidance. Must be a positive contributor to a team environment required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of advanced systems and basic database relationships. Candidate must be self-motivated, well organized, flexible and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation. Experience with SAP or other MRP / ERP system required. Computer literacy with a familiarity with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Access is required. Excel skills are required. Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, SAP Lumira required. Experience with Supply Chain analysis methodologies preferred. Ability to work flexible work schedule - Shift may need to be modified to support global projects. Bachelor's Degree Required. Experience working with High Performance Work Teams. Demonstrated Knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and/or Continuous Improvement Concepts a plus. Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Training Certification Preferred.
