 This is an Aircraft Technician B - Heavy Maintenance position with a company in Columbus, MS.

 

Summary: You will be part of a team that performs schedule and non-scheduled maintenance on UH-72A Lakota helicopters and other airframes as required. Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.

  Diagnoses malfunctions or failures and makes adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts and/or components.

Responsibilities: Performs detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. Conducts operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Assures that completed work complies with FAA/Airbus regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications. Follows all OSHA, safety and environmental regulations. Completes forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work. Performs troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.

Qualifications: Required; High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred. Trade school Experience: Required: Minimum of two years related experience. Preferred. None. Licensure/Certifications: Required. FAA A&P License. Preferred. None.
