Aurora Flight Sciences a Boeing Company AFP Operator 3753 in Columbus, Mississippi

This is a job for an AFP Operator position with the company located in the Columbus, MS area.

Responsibilities: Follow planning sequence of machining operations to fabricate hardware to engineering drawing requirements holding closer tolerance on complex configuration as required. Utilize all shop equipment as applicable. Use of various measuring techniques used to validate machined hardware. Effective interfacing with R&D, Engineering and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance to customer specifications. Understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Alternate shift work probable on occasion.

Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Position requires a person who is capable working with minimum supervision fabricating flight and non-flight hardware from various metals or composite materials. Qualified candidate should be able to multi-task, take initiative and communicate clearly. Candidate must be proficient in the use of verbal and written technical communication, and able to work from written or verbal instructions; basic computer skills [PC] with proficiency in MS Office software.
