Columbus Regional Hospital Lead Pharmacy Technician in Columbus, Indiana


What you need to know about the position:

  • Round the clock department, servicing every area of patient care within the hospital with more than 45 dynamic workers consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

  • The Lead Pharmacy Technician coordinates the activities of pharmacy technicians including initial training, competency testing, day-to-day activities, scheduling and issue resolution for all technician-related processes.

  • The Lead Pharmacy Technician, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, will also perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician and occasionally portions of the Automation Technician, Buyer and Surgical Technician.

  • The base hourly rate for this position is $20.71. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

  • This full-time, day position will require you to work varied hours with a weekend and holiday rotation.

  • Possess a high school diploma or certificate of equivalency- Required

  • Minimum two years of pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.- Required

  • Prior supervisory experience- preferred
