Description

We are looking for a talented IT Application Analyst Senior - SC & Finance to join our team for our Accelera Business Unit in Columbus, IN. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be onsite 60%.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.

  • Determines and documents optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configures and verifies application setup and configuration.

  • Develops expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.

  • Conducts analysis of potential application solutions, identifies and recommends solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.

  • Partners with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs.

  • Creates and manages functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Solution Design - Creates and defines the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

  • Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

  • Solution Modeling - Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

  • Solution Configuration - Configures, creates and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in supply chain with Oracle EBS/Cloud ERP application design/development required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing effective application/technical solutions & support Accelera supply chain & finance applications (e.g. ERP, MES, Quality, WMS etc.) across both direct and indirect operations.

  • Leads technical discussions with IT BAs or process owners & translates functional design into technical requirements.

  • Leads technical solution design discussions & recommends options to meet functional requirements/objectives while adhering to necessary enterprise architecture, Information Security, Controls, and Compliance requirements.

  • Translate functional specification into technical design & leads development effort.

  • Owns & maintains the Accelera Supply Chain/Operations specific Architecture & technical documentation (eg: TSD).

  • Provides guidance to production support teams on short term solution fixes for production issues on need basis.

  • Leads effective coordination, Planning, Reporting, Compliance, Information Security, IT Communications to Accelera’s SC IT / OPS projects & stakeholders.

  • Performs development work and directs work of other developers on the team.

  • Maintains relationships with key stakeholders across various business & IT teams.

Typical Day to Day Job Work Content Breakdown

  • 60% - Technical solution design & development - Translate functional design to technical specs., Define & Document - solution options/testing, develop new solutions - integrations/reports etc. (Projects/Enhancements/Break-Fixes)

  • 20% - IT Support / Root Cause Analysis/Documentation

  • 10% - Stakeholder, Task Management & coordination for execution (Business, Internal IT/global teams/ IT vendors)

  • 10% - Supporting other IT processes (Management Reporting/Planning/Strategy)

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,400 - $129,600. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
