Precision Tools Service Assistant Human Resource manager in Columbus, Indiana

We are seeking a skilled HR professional to fill the position of Assistant HR Manager. The qualified candidate will assist with the following HR and administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Creating and updating policies, procedures and job descriptions.

Creating and maintaining training programs.

Creating and monitoring performance management programs.

Maintaining compensation and bonus programs.

Serve as a resource to managers in handling and resolution of personnel and performance issues and advise on the best practices.

Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.

Must be familiar with the employee benefit processes including negotiating renewals.

Handle payroll functions such as reconciling and journal entries.

Handle annual regulatory filing and audits as required.

Process employee leaves of absence, including FMLA and ADA.

Oversee staff in the Payroll/Benefits, Recruitment and Administrative functions.

Other duties as assigned will be more administrative tasks dealing with branch level support such as maintaining office leases and utilities, obtaining licenses/registrations, vehicles and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Human Resources Certification (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Experience in Payroll processing, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Experience using Paycom would be a plus.
