Fabrication Facility/Job Shop looking for Experienced WELD SHOP SUPERVISOR for afternoon shift. Minimum Qualifications: · Ability to Supervise 10-15 employees -- *Ability to Develop teammates' skills and abilities; can provide adequate direction and feedback · Clearly communicate job expectations and performance requirements to all employees on shop floor · Business Ethics: Inspire trust in others, keep commitments, treat people with respect and uphold organizational values · Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprint · Assist Plant Manager with maintaining production schedule · Ability to weld in all position using 1/16" and 3/32" diameter wire · 5 years preferred experience in heavy fabrication · Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment · Successful completion of a hands-on weld test · Must possess own hand tools and tool box · Working knowledge of industry standards for welding and fabrication including weld symbols · Mechanical aptitude using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment · Enforce all Safety, Security and Company Policies and Procedures Must be able to pass physical with drug screening and background check. Competitive Wage based on experience Up to $22.00/hour with shift differential potential.
