Your Opportunity

Our Transportation group is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to be located in our Columbia, SC office to provide support with the day-to-day administrative requirements for transportation projects. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of administrative support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization focusing on project delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares correspondence, proposals, reports, schedules, minutes, spreadsheets, presentations, database lists, specifications, and contracts.

  • Organizes, attends, and keeps minutes of meetings including the coordination and tracking of action items and deliverables.

  • Creates and maintains project plans, schedules, and deliverables.

  • Processes expense reports, invoices, orders, timecards etc.

  • Manages calendars and schedules meetings.

  • Coordinates travel itineraries and arrangements.

  • Assists with document control including filing and archiving.

  • Performs other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignments.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and/or people.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically excel.

  • Experience with design/construction project or AEC projects.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma with minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
