We are currently seeking to build our roster of qualified professionals in anticipation of what is predicted to be a historic hurricane season . Specifically, Hagerty is looking for FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program Delivery Managers . These professionals will be providing support to clients associated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) PA Program and/or other special programs crafted as needed to meet potential future / evolving needs .

The responsibilities of the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support for financial duties supporting a disaster recovery program, including gathering documentation, developing procedures, performing financial reconciliation, ensuring guidance/policy compliance, creating reports, and other tasks as assigned by the client.

  • Drafting guidance to clients on the eligibility of FEMA PA costs related to disasters.

Candidates for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager must possess the following qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of professional experience preferably in management consulting or role directly in supporting the FEMA PA Program.

  • Previous experience with financial analysis and reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently in a primarily remote work environment.

  • A bachelor-s degree in a related field (e.g., economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, business administration). The equivalent previous experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Candidates for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager may also have the following qualifications:

  • Experience with federal grant programs, specifically including FEMA PA.

  • Previous experience advising applicants on the eligibility for FEMA PA costs related to disasters.

  • Previous experience supporting disaster recovery programs, including financial reporting, cost tracking, grant formulation, or grant audit and closeout.

  • Master-s degree in a related field (e.g., public administration, business, finance, construction management, emergency management).
