Mississippi Employer Production Operators in Columbia, Mississippi

Days and Hours to be arranged. Must be available to work nights and weekends overtime. The primary purpose of the production operator is to rotate through various positions within the plant to facilitate production by means of operating production equipment, which must be operated daily in the safest possible manner. Employees are required to learn all equipment and rotate as needed. Overtime may be required from time to time with little notice, temperature in plant may be high especially in summer, Must be able to stand and walk continuously, lift 10 - 50 lbs, work with hands, work above the shoulder, must be able to visually watch equipment and hear machinary running for safety purposes. WASH ROOM ATTENDANT: Loads bins at 15 bins/hour rate and properly sort, providing quality and moving carts to next department. CATCHER: Will train to stack & build carts conducive to customer standard, remove linen from the folder machine, count & stack, remove items from the conveyor, notify maintance for jams, and take cart to dryer area. HAND FOLDER: Takes items from previous process fold items & place on the couter top, checking quality for holes, tears or wheather it is stained and needs rewashing, and moving on to next work area. IRONER: Feeds flat sheet into the spreader and then into the ironer. QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or GED Preferred Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new computer Good recordkeeping skills. Excellent teamwork skills Must be flexible to move around in plant Must be able to count and read
