The Proposal Desktop Publisher will collaborate with the Proposal Coordinator in all aspects of required document formatting. Utilizes Leidos templates tailored to RFP requirements. Support document creation to support proposal development, reviews, and delivery. This includes working closely with the Proposal Coordinator to review the Request for Proposal (RFP) for requirements thus ensuring the development of compliant proposal templates. Must understand SharePoint to work in our Collaborative Capture Environment (CCE) to ensure configuration control of all formatted documents. The Proposal Desktop Publisher supports reviews, preparing review copies and merging reviewers’ comments; and preparing documents for final management review and production.

Active TS/SCI is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists proposal coordinators by creating compliant, quality templates.

  • Works collaboratively with a wide range of personnel, including book bosses, technical and business subject matter experts, authors, contracts managers, and production staff to facilitate efficient and effective proposal development.

  • Read and interpret RFP requirements to ensure compliance with font, type size, margins, and other proposal submission requirements

  • Review the proposal schedule with the coordinator and ensure deadlines for DTP are realistic/achievable

  • Perform visual Quality Assurance (QA) inspection of all proposal deliverables

  • Works with coordinator to facilitate hardcopy and electronic delivery

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or high school degree and 12+ years of related experience

  • Expert Desktop Publisher able to create and format visually appealing Microsoft Word templates and Excel documents in compliance with RFP requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Expert in Microsoft Word. Skilled in formatting Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint documents

  • Skilled in use of SharePoint

  • Skilled in Adobe Acrobat Pro for creating PDFs, and comparing and merging files

  • Able to work overtime and weekends, as required, to meet proposal schedule

  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and other Creative Suite software

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
