Sealing Technologies Inc Software Engineer in COLUMBIA, Maryland

Location:Columbia, MD Type:Hybrid

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is looking for an experienced Software Engineer III. As a Software Engineer III, you will work as part of a team to develop new tools, add features and capabilities, and automate system deployments and configuration to support the customer. You'll support projects using python, PHP, as well as Ansible and BASH scripting.

This is a hybrid position where you will be expected to be on site at least 40% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • The ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • 8 years of experience in system automation (Ansible, Puppet, Bash scripting, etc.) and software development (Python and or PHP)- (Experience can be a blend of formal education and hands-on professional work in the field).
  • Power User level experience in Linux environments (RHEL based preferred)
  • Working understanding of containerization
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team as well as independently as required.
  • Experience with system/software version control and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science,?IT, or related field.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher
  • Knowledge of DCO related security tools

*This role has an internal job title of Software Security Engineer III.Salary Range: $106K-$137Kand potential to qualify for bonuses.The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.*
