Kaizen Approach, Inc Senior Dataflow Sustainment Engineer in Columbia, Maryland

Description

Are you mission focused and ready to be with a company that truly values your contributions? We are currently seeking a Dataflow Sustainment Engineering Professional to join our team. In this role you will provide essential support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Responsibilities include managing IT system infrastructure, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution of cross-domain solutions. Additionally, this role involves escalating and communicating status updates to agency management and internal customers, as well as providing support for system and hardware problems and remaining engaged in the resolution process.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Assisting with escalated tickets from Tier 1 support

  • Creating new documentation for repeatable solutions for Tier 1 troubleshooting

  • Updating scripted responses

  • Analyzing quarantined data to determine the cause

  • Documenting tickets with comprehensive details

  • Patching IAVA systems at each security domain

  • Re-routing NiFi Data Flows around system blockages

  • Performing system backup and restore tasks

  • Documenting all changes made to systems

  • Closing or escalating tickets as appropriate

  • Three (3) years of experience with Linux

  • One (1) year of experience with NiFi

  • DoD 8570 Compliance IAM Level 1 certification is required

  • Nine (9) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Math, or Business discipline from an accredited college or University may be substituted for four (4) years of experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
