Description

Are you mission focused and ready to be with a team that truly values your contributions? We are currently seeking an experienced Configuration Management professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the configuration management of developmental and operational systems. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining configuration baselines across various stages, implementing automated CM tools, conducting change control, and configuration audits throughout the systems' lifecycle. Additionally, they will document hardware and software configuration management procedures and contribute to maintaining and developing environments for product build, testing, and integration. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience using a source code control system for a developmental program of similar scope and complexity, if assigned to a developmental program

  • Proficiency in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures

  • Strong understanding of configuration management tools such as DOORS and Eclipse, with the ability to utilize them effectively for tracking and managing configuration items

  • Demonstrated ability to document hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures accurately

  • Experience in maintaining and developing environments for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration

  • Skilled in defining and implementing hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures tailored to project requirements

  • Ability to serve as an advisor to the Government Change Control Board, providing valuable insights into configuration management processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Minimum of six (6) years of proven experience as a Configuration Manager in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of additional configuration management experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
