Kaizen Approach, Inc Information Systems Security Engineer in Columbia, Maryland

Are you mission focused and ready to be with a company that truly values your contributions. We are currently seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to perform technical security assessments, validate system security requirements, and design and integrate IA and security systems. In this role you will enforce security policies, support security authorization activities, and contribute to security planning and risk management efforts. They will also review certification and accreditation documentation and apply expertise in IA principles and security testing.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Participated as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments

  • Knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments

  • Supported security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management

  • Provided security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management

  • Performed system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, including those with differing data protection/classification requirements

  • Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements

  • DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.

  • CISSP Certification is required.

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR Four (4) additional years of ISSE experience

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
