Trace Systems is seeking a Service Desk Level I Technician to support our on-site team based in Colorado Springs, CO. The Level I Technician will provide support to the Service Desk team and customers in the troubleshooting, configuring and repairing of network related problems and by training customers on equipment to meet mission requirements. Additionally, the Level I technician will be required to provide on-site (customer) support as needed. Travel up to 20%.
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot Deployable Satellite Communications equipment and networks including iDirect, L3/Harris, Litecoms, Pacstar and DiTech hardware
Troubleshoot cellular technology, Wi-Fi systems and networks
Provide training to customers on associated equipment and configuration
Create, update and edit trouble tickets on a daily basis
Provide accurate status reports and updates to Service Desk Lead
Coordinate with DISA's Enterprise SATCOM Gateway Services to solve and document network/SATCOM related services
Professionally interact and coordinate with Government Customers
As required, provide up to 24/7 customer support

Salary Minimum: $68,000
Salary Maximum: $75,000
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification
3 years experience with deployable communications systems
Due to contractual requirements, candidate must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II
5 years experience with deployable communications systems
iDirect modem familiarity
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
