Kelly Services Electro-Mechanical Assembler (2nd Shift) in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Pay: $22-$25/hr

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, M-F

Location : Colorado Springs, 80915

Position Type: temp to hire

Position Summary: Performs repetitive and complex electro-mechanical assembly, involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.

  • Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.

  • Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.

  • Will assemble all variations of in-house standard products.

  • Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, NEC and UL codes/standards.

  • Uses simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs and fixtures.

  • Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP).

  • Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. Maintains equipment and area in an orderly and safe condition.

  • Contributes to division results and performance.

  • Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Conduit and wire pulling experience (required)

  • 2+ years of residential/commercial electrical experience

  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams, and point to point drawings

  • Proficiency using hand tools

  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs

  • Computer and phone savviness
