Benefits and Memorial Program The Benefits and Memorial Program (BAM) provides high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to the Veterans at the point-of-care as well as throughout all points of the Veterans' health care in an effective, timely and compassionate manner. The VA depends on Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) systems to meet mission goals, and deliver world-class, innovative systems that ensure reliable, secure, and seamless delivery of benefits and services directly to Veterans and their families. The BAM program focuses on developing and managing advanced technology solutions to serve the Veterans Benefits Administration, the Board of Veterans Appeals, and the National Cemetery Administration.

9th Way Insignia Technology has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist in developing Systems Software to sustain and improve the BAM program. This position is contingent upon contract award by the government.

Professional Level Information: A SME Computer Systems Analyst aligns as an Engineer (3) within 9th Way Insignia Technology. An Engineer, 3 typically plans and directs research or development work on complex projects, along with engaging various parties in design and development. Costs and recommendations of new components may also involve part of the job scope. Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm. An Engineer, 3 oversees the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. An Engineer, 3 has broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assists in the resolution of complex problems. An Engineer, 3 has strong technical skills and background, a knack for learning new technologies, and a blend of good problem-solving and innovation needed to resolve a wide variety of technical production challenges.

Responsibilities: ? Serve as the primary expert on computer systems analysis, providing technical leadership and strategic guidance. ? Analyze and evaluate complex business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement. ? Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. ? Design and implement efficient and scalable system solutions, ensuring they meet both current and future needs. ? Conduct detailed system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability. ? Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system design, configurations, and processes. ? Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use system solutions effectively. ? Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance our systems and processes. ? Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or 16 years of experience in lieu of degree) ? 8+ years of professional experience in computer systems analysis or a related role. ? Deep understanding of system analysis and design methodologies. ? Proficiency in various programming languages and software development tools. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically. ?Excellent verbal and written communication skills can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. ? Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. ? Experience with database management systems, network infrastructure, and cloud computing platforms. ? Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $96,371 - $138,837 9th Way Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Location: Remote 9th Way Insignia reserves the right to adjust work location based upon mission requirements.
