Position Title: Direct Support Professional for Adults with disabilities FLSA Status: Full Time - Non Exempt Required Travel: Daily Local Hiring Range: $16.22-$17.68 per hour, Depending on Qualifications. The position will remain open until filled.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach individuals self-help, social, interpersonal, and daily living skills, according to their treatment plans. Safely provide transportation per Ariel's Transportation Policy. Responsible for supports and assistance with personal care as needed. Review and become familiar with client specific protocols, services and supports, and individual support plans. Gather supplies, equipment, medications, and materials for engaging in person-centered services and supports in a meaningful way. Complete required documentation daily. Manage challenging behaviors individually and in public settings through established training. Communicate effectively and efficiently with other team members, leads, supervisors, manager, and other agency administration as needed. Actively participate in supervision, training, community, team, and service plan meetings, as directed. Follow all safety procedures and agency policies. Maintain professional boundaries while establishing a trustworthy and beneficial relationship. Represent the agency in a positive and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience

Required: minimum age to qualify for the position is 18 years old. must have a vehicle to support transportation for individuals. Mileage expenses are reimbursed to employee when mileage expense report is submitted to Ariel by payroll deadlines.

Preferred: 6 months' experience in a related field, i.e., working/living with the Intellectual a d Developmentally Disabled population, or the mental health Minimum of 20 hours of Behavioral Line Staff training. Related certifications and/or trainings (i.e., CPR, QMAP, First Aid, Safety Care, etc.). All certifications must be verifiable and current.

Required: Valid Colorado Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation is required for the position. CPR, 1stAid - client contact is limited before prior to certification. Safety Care within 60 days of hire; client contact is limited until this training is completed.
