Cloud Computing DevOps Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. As a DevOps engineer, you know that these skills create efficiency and effectiveness-so you can quickly deliver the best solutions for clients. We're looking for a DevOps engineer like you to help develop critical tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you'll streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

7+ years of experience with both cloud architecture and automation engineering

5+ years of experience with leading cloud platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS), including IaaS, PaaS, or Serverless offerings

3+ years of experience with automation and scripting, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell

3+ years of experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces

Experience with infrastructure automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

Experience with security best practices for cloud deployments

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain a DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

Experience with cloud architectural design and implementation of secure cloud infrastructure using automation tools

Experience with troubleshooting cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, operations, and stakeholders

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification

Terraform Certified Associate or Ansible Certified Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation ran e for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
