Summary Description: The position manages our operations and campus visit teams and is a member of the Admission leadership team, reporting to the Director of Admission. The role builds relationships with prospective students and families, participates in application review, and travels for recruitment activities. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and experience managing staff, preferably in higher education admission.

Anticipated Salary Range: $58,392 to $78,829 per year

Responsibilities:

Supervise operations team comprised of four admission coordinators, providing mentoring and professional development related to their projects and responsibilities; manage coordinator workloads to ensure timely constituent responses and application processing. Manage campus visits including open houses; ensure sufficient event staffing; collaborate with student ambassador team; manage Cutler Hall building operations; collaborate with communications team on promotional and logistical messaging. Read admission applications; participate in sub-committee and full committee review processes. Manage Barnes and El Pomar scholarship programs including application forms, communications, candidate interviews, and collaboration with faculty review committees. Serve as an initial point of contact for students seeking enrollment at CC. Build strong relationships with high school students and their families, high school counseling staff, and community organizations. Lead information sessions for prospective students and their families. Manage a recruitment territory and travel two to four weeks during key recruitment periods; up to 6-8 weeks annually.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years of related admission or college counseling experience, including supervisory experience, demonstrated strong ability to independently manage projects and programs and achieve successful outcomes; ability to travel throughout the year, and work evenings and weekends when required; strong organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills willingness to work in a fast-paced office environment and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and collegially with all segments of the college community.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field with five or more years of related experience in admission or a higher educational setting or college counseling experience; experience with holistic file review and selective college admission; demonstrated previous professional staff supervisory experience. Expertise in data analysis and constituent relationship management software, especially Technolutions Slate.
