Compensation (Pay): $17.18 to $24.91/hourly, based on experience.

    Job Summary: Responsible for providing support of accounts payable processes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtains and maintains vendor W-9s.

  • Assists with generating 1099’s.

  • Scans, disburses and tracks invoices.

  • Reviews and keys invoices, check requests, mileage reimbursements and patient refunds.

  • Prepares and issues payments to include checks, ACH transfers, and electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments.

  • Matches invoices to checks for release.

  • Performs month-end accounts payable closing processes.

  • Reviews POs for correct coding and grant tracking within financial accounting system.

  • Performs vendor account analysis.

  • Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors in a professional manner.

  • Assists with daily cash count and petty cash duties as needed.

  • Assists with cashier audits as needed.

  • Monitors periodically outstanding POs for duplicates and aging trends/patterns to determine which POs have not been vouchered to invoices.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent education required.

    One year of office administration, finance, or accounting experience required.

    Computer Skills: Intermediate: Ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates and the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons
