What are your contributions to the team?

  • Implement, coordinate, and prioritize changes to production line configuration with robust tracking of change management process activities.

  • Based on engineering documentation, define, develop, and coordinate modifications to the manufacturing sequence plan and precedence diagrams.

  • Provide technical support for configuration changes and manufacturing processes.

  • Define and incorporate standard times in work instructions to ensure proper product costing.

  • Document and promote modifications, standard practices and lessons learned that ensure product integrity in accordance with design requirements.

  • Evaluate unplanned needs for configuration changes ensuring the quality of customer requirements.

  • Analyze, plan, and implement engineering requirements for test aircraft, option configurations and spare parts required by the program.

  • Design methodologies for ensuring design requirements in product planning (as designed, as planned).

  • Participate, validate, and provide feedback on engineering design review boards, based on site impact analysis.

  • Ensure the functionality of the tooling and visual aids used during the implementation in the production line.

  • Submit the documentation required for the PRE-FAI and FAI according to the process established in the program.

  • Define the delivery condition (COS) of the materials that guarantee flexibility in the manufacture of the product.

  • Implement functionality tests that are required by product specifications or design.

  • Analyze and identify change needs in engineering documentation, coordinate and generate change requirement documentation (RFC).

  • Complete and document impact analyses and implementation plans required by program during product configuration changes.

  • Provide solutions and feedback efficiently during the phases and milestones of new product development.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience within the Method Configuration Engineering / Aerospace Manufacturing or Automotive Product Engineering environment.

  • You have professional degree in Aeronautics, Industrial or Industrial Engineer Administrator. He has 100% technical and business English language management. French is a plus.

  • You have experience with BMS (Bombardier Manufacturing System), Bombardier manuals (BM's), BES (Bombardier Engineering Systems), QMS (Quality Management System), SMS (Safety Management System), Siemens Teamcenter, internal and industry regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, QAD, etc.)

  • You must have knowledge and/or certifications of Catia V5 (or related such as Autocad), SAP, 3DVIA, Advanced Excel, Office 365.
