Bombardier Configuration Management Engineering Technologist Specialist in Colon, Mexico

In your role, you will

  • Accountable to provide all Configuration Management deliverables on time.

  • Build Configuration Management Plans for new aircraft development programs.

  • Develop Config Management Policies and Procedures for Bombardier and identify and/or drive process improvements.

  • Responsible to validate the on-boarding of new suppliers and provide guidance in resolving CM issues.

  • Contribute to the Configuration Management Knowledge domain.

  • Actively participate in continues improvement projects focused on new tools and processes for sustaining and development programs.

  • Present CM topics to any level of the organization including upper management.

  • Develops peers and new hires in the field of Configuration Management domain through training, mentoring and review of daily work.

As our ideal candidate

  • You have deep knowledge of CM activities within the Bombardier system and on various platforms and how they are applied with respect to the Product Definition at Bombardier.

  • You have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the aircraft configuration management field.

  • You have a deep knowledge of the Team Centre.

  • You have expert level understanding of Airframe configuration management and control and have developed aircraft level Configuration Management Plans.

  • You have strong understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures.

  • You are highly motivated with a proven ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. You are a leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently.

  • A college diploma and CMMI certification would be considered an asset.
