Establishes operational strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues to reach short- and long-term performance goals while fostering a working environment of urgency, integrity and trust Accountable for assigned site's key performance metrics including machine and labor efficiencies and provides guidance to departmental leaders to ensure scorecard objectives are met - leverages data driven decision making Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative practices, methods and procedures that add value for the facility Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to set continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence Accountable for employee and organizational development plans and people management strategies - working closely with direct reports Proactively monitors site capacity and collaborates with other sites on scheduling optimization to meet internal and external customer on-time-delivery demands Conducts equipment feasibility studies and makes recommendations for investment; works with Finance to prepare capital expenditure plan and is accountable for payback expectations Prepares and manages the annual financial plan and monitors performance through forecasting and/or other company report Ensures the overall maintenance and security of facilities, grounds, utilities and equipment Interacts with key stakeholders to provide technical support, explore new business opportunities, and/or resolve order problems or complaints Administer company policies, practices, and adherence to standard operating procedures, which includes enforcing and maintaining safety, food safety and environmental policies and procedures. Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required Experience leading improvement efforts in production, quality, or profitability Experience with change management/transformation initiatives

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of a manufacturing facility Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes Ability to lead people and get results through others Ability to build a Continuous Improvement Culture Ability to think ahead and plan over a specific time span Ability to establish high performance teams and a strong team player Ability to regularly flex between hands on tactical and strategic work as necessary. #LI-CB1
