Dorman Products is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our Rotational Engineering Program, offering you the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience with reverse engineering, metrology, test development and more. Based on your degree, experience, and interests, you'll embark on a path that both compliments and stretches your skills. As a Rotational Engineer, you will spend six to eight months at a time rotating through the various areas of our engineering department to learn the various roles and gain an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and responsibilities required for each. At the end of each rotation, there will be a mini review to provide feedback and guidance, and after completing the two year program, a full evaluation will take place to identify an Engineering role within Dorman that best matches your skills, aspirations and interests.

Here's a glimpse of some of the job duties you'll perform as a Rotational Engineer: Review product specifications and evaluate data for product feasibility. Use SolidWorks engineering and design software to complete engineering and design tasks. Analyze test data and reports to determine if designs meetfunctional, reliability and quality requirements. Use electrical engineering tools such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, logic analyzer to benchmark electronic module performance and test production samples. Create 3D models of various automotive products Create 2D drawings applying Dorman standard design principles

Qualifications Minimum 0-1 years' experience with Bachelors' degree (BS) in Engineering Thorough knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access Understanding of manufacturing capabilities; i.e. machining, stamping, casting, injection molding, electronics assembly Knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems is a plus Willingness to travel up to 20%
