Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Collierville, Tennessee

Description:

Responsible for maintaining equipment, performing preventative and repair maintenance on all equipment through out the building, as well as building maintenance. Applicant must be willing and able to perform a wide array of general maintenance tasks in addition to troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems , electric motors (AC and DC), and all types of motor controls and drives.

• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical problems with equipment techs over the phone, and be able to read a schematic.

• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance.

• PLC Logic knowledge (ability to identify if it is a PLC minimal experience needed, they can not edit ladder logic or programming at ALL)

• Experience in an industrial /manufacturing environment or equivalent experience preferred (open to distribution candidates with strong electircal expeirence)

• Daily passdowns and work orders will be handled with CMMS

• Production is Priotirty - maintaining the production machinery will take high priority over PM's, work orders, and projects.

• Daily / midshift checks and PM's are performed on weighing systems, compressors, compactors, chillers, and HVAC

• Production machinery includes : 6 station - 12 station , color presses, color dyes, rotary stamp, slitter / cutter machines, folding machines, roll presses, webber machines, flexo presses

• Most repairs are electrical, experience performing troubleshooting and repair/replacements on prox switches, limit switches, relay switches, circuit troubleshooting, high / low voltage.

• Mechanical repairs include hydraulics, pneumatics, changing out webbing, dyes, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience required:

• Maintenance in manufacturing or production strongly preferred (3 - 4 + years but flexible with working hands on experience)

• Electrical experience with 3 phase, basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge, and ability to work with VFD's required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics

• Any industry in manufacturing would be considered
