GCG 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate - Collegeville, PA in Collegeville, Pennsylvania

Overview

As we continue to grow, Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently seeking 2nd shift Warehouse Associates to join our team in Collegeville, PA! If you are looking for a direct-hire role to take the next step in your career and gain hands on experience with an industry leader in wire, cable and industrial automation, then AWC may be the right fit for you!

In this role, you will be responsible for using an RF scanner to scan and move inventory, picking & packing orders, using machinery to test spool, and other general warehouse duties as needed .

Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F

Pay Rate: $18/hr. + full benefits

Location: 101 Kestrel Drive Collegeville, PA 19426

What you'll do

  • Operate machinery to spool wire & cable and run test spool to ensure accuracy

  • Scan and relocate inventory using RF scanner and forklifts

  • Pick and pack orders and assist with inventory control

  • Loading/unloading

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

  • Assist with general warehouse duties/departments as needed

What you'll bring

  • High School diploma (preferred)

  • Warehouse experience a plus

  • Attention to detail

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • The ability to read communication, work tickets, emails, memos, etc.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
