JOB SUMMARY: Clean and service all occupied or vacant rooms according to hotel standards

Physical Requirements:

  1. Standing/Walking:Frequently. Walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.
  2. Crouching (Bend at knees): Frequently. While cleaning guestrooms.
  3. Stooping (Bend at waist): Frequently. While cleaning guestrooms.
  4. Twisting (Knees/waist/Neck):Loading and unloading linen.
  5. Climbing:Occasionally. Climbing to the top shelves in linen rooms.
  6. Reaching (Overhead/extension):Frequently. For irons, ironing boards, and linen shelves.
  7. Handling/Grasping: Frequently. Handling linen, trash, and guest cleaning supplies.
  8. Pushing/Pulling: Average weight frequently 50 lbs.
  9. Lifting/Carrying: Average weight frequently 20 lbs.

Working Environment:

Working interior and exterior of hotel.

DUTIES and FUNCTIONS:

  1. Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
  2. Set-up VIP rooms as assigned
  3. Attend required meetings
  4. Keep work areas clean and organized
  5. Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
  6. Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
  7. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions.
  8. Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
