K2United is seeking an IT Supervisor to join and lead our IT Support team. Our ideal candidate thoroughly understands all stages of the IT support process and is passionate about using their technical skills to contribute to positive employee experiences related to IT systems.

About You

Youre a technically capable, strategic thinker who enjoys collaborative solutioning. Youre not afraid to express new ideas, have a genuine interest in technological trends, and thrive on tackling new challenges. You enjoy interpreting and organizing all the details and components that enable our IT Support Technicians to provide outstanding and personalized employee support. At a minimum you have:

  • experience in a Support Desk environment (IT preferred)
  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • a strong understanding of technical issues and how to resolve them

Its not required, but experience working with applications like ServiceDesk, Jira, and Confluence is a plus. Youllreallyimpress us if you have certifications in ITIL4, COMPTIA, A+, or equivalent training.

Your Impact

In this role, youll have the opportunity to act as a liaison to our organizations employees, helping ensure their IT needs are met with positive interactions, efficient solutions, and effective support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • providing process clarity, support, and resource organization to IT Support team members
  • prioritizing support requests and managing the ticket backlog to ensure quick and effective resolution of issues
  • maintaining metrics to clearly reflect workload and effectiveness of IT Support team members
  • clarifying requestor needs and priorities, acting as a liaison between requestors and the IT Support Technicians
  • coordinating with organizational stakeholders to identify IT needs, ensuring successful onboarding, managing licensing for external systems, and communicating IT changes
  • performing user administration for O365 and accounts in external systems (e.g., Miro, Salesforce)
  • critical review of new technologies (hardware and software) to align with industry best practices and K2United needs, including coordinating training among the IT Support team to stay current with technologies
