COOPER HATCHERY INC Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift - $1000 Sign-On Bonus in Coldwater, Ohio

Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer County, Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our Central Egg Processing team in Coldwater.

$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$ (Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination).

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.00-$24.00 with a potential increase after 90 days. PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

  • Maintaining and repairing all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation
  • Properly and legibly completing required documentation including but not limited to: PM's, PSM, work orders, etcetera.
  • Utilizing I-Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Electrical knowledge of 480/120, control circuits and basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
