JOB SUMMARY: The Data Warehouse Software Developer is responsible for the creating of applications that take into consideration all aspects of application development architecture design including performance, scalability, coding, security, and error logging/testing. The important skills for this position are C#, SQL, and other various business intelligence tools. RESPONSIBILITIES: Development of an in-house SQL based database warehouse responsible for storing information pulled from an ERP and various other sources. Work with Business Intelligence team to help design data structures for visualizations. Support warehouse and BI Tools environment. Perform QA and work closely with QA team. Research new technologies and share how they could be integrated into our environment. Troubleshooting and debugging both internal and external code Use of Agile development methodology Involved with researching new technology, architecture decisions, and setting coding standards. Requirements/Education: Bachelor in Computer Science or other IT-related field preferred 2-year degree in programming or other IT-related field with additional experience may be considered 0 2 years experience developing software applications Experience in the following technologies is considered a plus: Visual Studio Domo C# SSRS TABLEAU MVC, ASP.NET MS SQL PWER BI Visual Studio ENTITY FRAMEWORK JIRA JD EDWARDS Strong collaboration, relationship management, verbal and written communication skills Good judgment, logical thinking, and detail-oriented Ability to adapt and understand business Ability to drive projects to completion Understands Agile methodology and process.
