Position is entry level with opportunities to advance professionally and financially for people with a career & goal oriented mindset. Selling and some cold calling is required. Local and regional travel is part of the job. Insurance experience is not required.

  • Insurance isn't all the same and ours is a niche dealing exclusively with Trucking and Transportation oriented clients. We function in a technical consultative and advisory role rather than a high-pressure cold-calling auto-dialing one.

-Unlike most other types of insurance products ( such as Life ) there is no requirement to establish a NEED for the product with our client; it is required legally and contractually.

Duties:

  1. Developing new clients and assisting with the service of existing ones.

  2. Networking: Building relationships with underwriters, clients and co-workers is crucial. Communication by phone , email, and in-person visits to clients and business partners are important parts of the job.

  3. Completing applications and creating submissions to win new clients. Prioritizing and Multitasking are necessary skills.

  4. Be able to deal with deadline pressure is part of our success.

Qualifications:

  1. A willingness to learn.

  2. Be Coachable: able to accept constructive criticism if necessary.

  3. Computer keyboard skills and/or willingness to learn).

  4. Professional/strong verbal and written communications skills. Solid proofreading.

  5. Flexible, be willing to adapt and change gears as situations and opportunities arise.

  6. Self-motivated and driven to succeed.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
