Digital Marketing Manager

Responsible for design, planning and implementation of the overall policies and goals for SandS e-business strategy. Position will work with information technology, creative, merchandising, circulation, database and other departments to maximize website and e-commerce effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall e-marketing strategy and omnichannel campaigns (OCCM) including email, social marketing, paid and natural search-engine marketing, affiliates, and other e-commerce initiatives.

  • Propose ways to integrate e-commerce with other direct response marketing and sales planning and activity to optimize SandS sales and multi-channel marketing and sales profitability.

  • Lead cross functional web team to identify areas of improvement for ssww.com and define overall web site architecture. Oversee website merchandising of product pages, onsite search and navigation to optimize conversion and online sales.

  • Conduct research into current and emerging Web technologies and issues in support of e-business/e-commerce activities.

  • Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to Web applications.

  • Manage team of 2 marketing professionals to execute the e-marketing plan.

  • Monitor and report on e-business initiatives using Google Analytics, OCCM and NetSuite.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10 years previous experience in an E-commerce or Internet Marketing position.

  • Knowledge of e-commerce technology and internet portals

  • Basic knowledge of Web technologies, protocols, and tools such as Apache, HTTP/SSL, HTML, DHTML, XML

  • Basic knowledge of Internet programming languages, including PHP and JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of computer graphic and multimedia design (Photoshop, Flash)
