We are seeking ProductionTechnicians for a manufacturing company in Hayden Lake, ID. The duties of this position are considered similar to arts and crafts. Interested? Please read on!

Compensation for the ProductionTechnician

  • \$17 Per Hour
  • Monday Thursday, 5 am 3:30 pm
  • This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential for hire for the right candidate.

Responsibilities for the ProductionTechnician

  • Work inside a controlled environment that is sometimes humid
  • Ensure all necessary parts are properly assembled (which often requires wrapping in a special material that is time consuming, requires attention to detail and fine finger manipulation, like wrapping a part in tape for painting, or applying decoupage/plaster to an item)
  • Watch continuously for FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ensure that it has not compromised materials or parts
  • Inspect each part for quality, clean the part per specifications, bag the part for the next process, and move to the next part
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for the ProductionTechnician

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have 1 3 years of composite manufacturing experience in order to be considered
  • Minimum of 6 months of production work experience
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations
  • High attention to detail
  • Competencies: initiative / problem solving, teamwork / relationship building, safety, job knowledge, delivering results, continuous improvement
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift of to 50 lbs., wear protective gear and follow proper safety precautions (lab coat, gloves, eye protection all provided)
