Construction Project Manager Painting/Coatings

Our client is a sub-contracting company based in Post Falls and is experienced in all types of commercial construction throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Alaska, and Hawaii. They specialize in steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, painting, coatings and stucco/ EIFS. We are looking for a strong team member with a passion for making sure the job is done right.

Salary: \$70,000.00 - \$110,000.00 per year

Job Duties

  • Understand project plans, specifications, scopes and contracts
  • Deliver successful projects to clients, on schedule, on budget, and with the highest quality
  • Create and manage project budgets including labor, material, equipment, subcontracts, and purchase orders
  • Estimating scope of work (SOW) generation, detailed and comprehensive quantity takeoff, accurate cost evaluation, subcontractor and supplier bid solicitation, scope qualification and evaluations
  • Manage projects including risks to budgets, schedule, quality, for overall profit and success
  • Procure materials and equipment with vendors
  • Manage manpower to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to resolve problems in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide project reports and budget forecasts to Supervisors
  • Complete Monthly billing and change order procedures
  • Negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements
  • Monitor safety requirements and safety program documents

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as project manager of Painting, Roof Coatings, EIFS or related scopes
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • Professional, self-motivating and positive attitude
  • Computer skills- Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Sage Contractor 100 & Edge Estimating Software knowledge helpful
  • Bachelors degree preferred
