Coeur d'Alene Resort Marina Security Officer - Swing Shift in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho

We are looking for a Security Officer to ensure the safety of our guests, employees and property. This position requires continuous patrols and documentation of shifts. Position requires good customer service skills while ensuring safety and property policies are being followed. Security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Performance Standards/Duties include a variety of tasks including:

  • Ensure safety/security of marina tenants and their Guests, other team members, and property to which you are assigned.

  • Enforce policies/procedures as directed by management.

  • Without bias, accurately and factually document shift activities.

  • Follow all safety procedures outlined in the marina security manual.

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the Hagadone Hospitality team member and marina security manuals.

  • Ensure prompt and courteous service to all Guests to ensure that each Guest experience is distinctly supreme.

  • Effectively manage time and complete each of your assigned tasks as well as those directed by marina team members and management.

  • Adhere to all uniform and dress requirements outlined in the Hagadone Hospitality team member manual. Security team members must be clean-shaven at the beginning of each shift.

  • Meet or exceed all performance standards.

  • Make safety and security patrols of property and facility.

  • Report any unusual situations to the Duty Officer in a timely manner. These situations may include, but are not limited to: emergencies of any type, criminal activity, and law enforcement presence.

  • Report status to Duty Officer each hour, on the hour.

  • Investigate and assist with tenant and Guest concerns, incidents, accidents, and all emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

  • Diploma or G.E.D., 21 years or older.

  • Security or law enforcement experience preferred.

  • CPR certification preferred.

  • Clean DMV valid Idaho driver's license and clear background check.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.

  • Ensure that no employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.

  • Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.

  • Variable hour team members could be eligible12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

  • Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

  • 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

  • 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

  • Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
