How do you excel in this position
You should promptly handle service calls, conduct semi-complex maintenance tests, and analyze existing BAS systems. Advise service coordinator, technicians, and external providers on issue resolutions. Interpret mechanical drawings. Configure, calibrate, and test sensors, actuators, and field devices. Load, test, and confirm communication among BAS controllers. Perform system check-out, commissioning, and document results. Assist lead technician during owner training. Cultivate strong customer relationships to enhance business prospects.
What are we looking for
One (1) year of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
One (1) year experience with Building Automation Systems and Protocols, including LON, BACnet, ModBus, and Metasys
Basic Ethernet networking including setting up of IP addresses and network communication
MS Office Suite experience
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of Building Automation Control systems with troubleshooting experience
Basic low voltage electrical testing skills
Must be authorized to work in US
Ability to travel extensively with a valid Driver's License
Additional skills preferred but not required
Associated degree or 1-2 years of Vocational Technical Training
