In this role, you will operate Coating and Calendaring equipment, mastering the operations of each machine. You should possess the desire and aptitude to become proficient in operating additional, more complex machinery.

  • Operate Coating and Calendaring equipment according to standard procedures.
  • Learn and become proficient in operating additional machinery as required.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, machines, and tools using provided process documents, diagrams, and written instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment in accordance with 6S standards while adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Follow instructions per process specifications while manufacturing materials for use in high-power cells and batteries.

  • Ability to comprehend written instructions and accurately document and record work results.
  • Proven experience in running complex machinery and producing quality products.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to apply measurements precisely and follow instructions regarding machine speed and temperature, control the rate at which mixes are applied to materials, and understand and control viscosity.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to notice subtle variations in processes that may affect final product quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly describe machine or product issues to a variety of personnel.
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and address issues that may occur during machine operation.
  • Willingness to learn and understand assigned tasks and associated risks.
