Owens Dentistry is seeking a welcoming receptionist to join our state-of-the-art dental practice. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. We take pride in making patient's feel at ease. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide basic and accurate dental information in-person and via phone/email
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, emailing, and faxing
  • Verify insurance information
  • Phone in prescriptions to pharmacies
  • Confirm patient appointments
