Description Job Description This position is responsible for managing and collecting a portfolio of accounts within approved corporate guidelines. Salary: $20.00 - $26.52 DOE Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing and collecting a portfolio of accounts within approved corporate guidelines and legal compliance requirements for the sale of alcohol as assigned by Supervisor/Manager. Review daily order report for customer flagged accounts. Maintain reasonable credit limit and lines to accommodate orders or seasonal barge shipments. Responsible for reconciling customer accounts, including identifying reasons on any disputes, deductions and unapplied payments towards resolution. Ensures customer is paying in accordance to terms of sale that vary per state or product type. Military and large retail chain accounts experience a plus. Works closely with customer, cash team, sales, pricing and administration teams to identify root cause and coordinate correct handling to resolve discrepancies and coodinate action to mitigate future ones. Maintains current detailed communications and accurate contact documentation on assigned accounts or hierarchy that may include portal accesses, customer folders detail, alcohol lien or unique process handling, current year application, contact names, titles, phone numbers and emails. Negociates payment plans within approved guidelines and monitors follow up promises. Brings account concerns to AR Supervisor or Credit Manager for prompt attention and escalation. Recommends credit hold, write off, and third party action for customers not meeting prompt payment standards as defined by management. Requests customer adjustments timely and accurately. Prepares and supports weekly or monthly statements to customers. Provides excellent customer service. Job Requirements Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or techinical school preferred but not required; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), Adobe, Teams, SharePoint. Experience handling large volume deduction management and or transactional account reconcilation prefered. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient with the English language is necessary for this position. Must be detail oriented, with problem solving ability, and strong organization skills. Ability to work accounts in multiple ERP systems. Experience with eoStar and/or Encompass a plus.
