Copeland Senior Network Operations Engineer in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

We are looking for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to provide Tier II and Tier III technical operational support to the Global Copeland IT Enterprise.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supports and supervises the Global IT Enterprise infrastructure to include SD-WAN, Cloud, and Campus infrastructure services (LAN/Wireless).

  • Provides technical support for daily, change, and incident response operations, and supports the daily administration and management of the Global Enterprise operations.

  • Collaborate with Service Management to coordinate change and patch management, new service turnup, and service disconnections.

  • Provide technical direction on the configuration and operation of the use of NOC and monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds, Splunk, vManage, vAnalytics, ISE, DNAC, NetScout nGenious)

  • Leads processes regarding end-to-end network connectivity and performance of Cisco devices and circuits, and across all communication platforms (WLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Firewall, IPSec links, and VPN’s).

  • Works with Security group to ensure the accurate deployment of Copeland Security policy and governance requirements and provide real-time status of Copeland Enterprise service availability and performance.

  • Build and maintain of low-level documentation (Viso).

  • Analyze data and deliver metrics associated with utilization, capacity, and functional operations of the network.

  • Provides SME support for Network services and Critical Incident responses.

  • Support root cause analysis of problems and tracks, documents and reports identified patterns.

  • Work with the general direction both independently and with other members of the various operation teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or related technology/engineering field preferred or equivalent experience, or Military Occupational specialties with minimal 5 years’ operational experience that focus on IT Communication.

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional required, Cisco Certified Inter network Expert certification preferred, or equivalent experience required.

  • Ten or more years' experience working in a Network Operations Engineering positon, including hands-on involvement in configuring and fixing large, distributed network services in a traditional Cisco LAN/WAN environment including private, public virtual and layer 2 and layer 3 networks.

  • In-depth knowledge of VLANs, spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, physical layer protocols

  • Detailed knowledge of Cisco SDWAN Viptela and Meraki technologies and features, as well as wireless solution architectures and capabilities.

  • Experience managing wireless infrastructures using Cisco Prime, ISE, and DNAC solution tools, and deploying cloud-based Cisco Viptela SD-WAN globally.

  • Previous experience in working together with global and local Managed Service Provider Telecoms or other external vendors, supporting the delivery of MPSL, DIA, and Broadband services.

  • Functional understanding of Security technologies and their relations to Network communications, of DNS, DHCP and related network services, as well as IP addressing strategies and practices.

  • Ability to perform maintenance activities outside of normal business hours.

  • Superb Communication and Teamwork skills, able to operate in a large global matrix network environment with a distributed global operations team.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Solid grasp of Cloud networking specifically with Azure and AWS.

  • Process accuracy and documentation skills are important.

  • Experience working within ITIL 3/4 framework, routers, switches, firewall, Load balancer.

  • Experience of operating in an Enterprise environment with strict change control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Familiarity with zScaler Security and segmentation solutions.

  • Relevant knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Visio and Project.
