Emerson Cybersecurity Culture and Awareness Specialist in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Culture & Awareness Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training and awareness strategies to cultivate a strong security culture within our organization.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Create engaging and informative team newsletters to disseminate relevant cybersecurity information and team updates to employees.

  • Develop a coordinated, up to date, and accessible SharePoint site for Cybersecurity to disseminate information that promotes a culture of self-service and knowledge-sharing.

  • Create a Security Ambassador Program that empowers individuals to positively influence their peers to use cyber secure methods and processes, fostering a security conscious culture.

  • Oversee the annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities and strategy, using the opportunity to attract and teach personnel about the importance of Cybersecurity.

  • Provide communication support to leadership by drafting internal memos, presentations, and other materials as needed.

Who You Are:

You readily learn and adopt new technologies. You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field

  • Proven experience in training and awareness program development or related experience such as event planning, communication, culture development, etc.

  • Core understanding of cybersecurity practices and training and awareness methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing and communication initiatives.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • General awareness and understanding of cybersecurity is a plus

  • A passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to promoting security awareness and standard processes!

  • Previous experience in a matrix organization is a plus.
