Honeywell Industrial Electrician III in Clover, South Carolina

As an Industrial Electrician III at Honeywell, you will be an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for performing preventive maintenance on machines, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs on our chemical machines. This plant in Clover, SC specializes in producing gloves and combining chemicals to create the rubber for manufacturing. This role will involve approximately 80% day-to-day repairs and 20% long-term projects. Your responsibilities will focus on 60% electrical and 40% mechanical duties.

You will work a 2-2-3 schedule.

Example:

2 days on: You will be scheduled to work for two consecutive days.

2 days off: After your two workdays, you will have two consecutive days off.

3 days on: Following your initial two days off, you will then work for three consecutive days.

2 days off: Finally, you will have two more consecutive days off before the cycle repeats.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on machinery and equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to identify the root cause of problems.

    • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as motors, sensors, switches, and valves.

    • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.

    • Utilize knowledge of electrical systems and controls to ensure proper functioning of machinery.

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.

    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in industrial maintenance techniques.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

You Must Have:

  • 3+ years mechanical experience in an industrial setting

    • 2+ years electrical experience in an industrial setting

    We Value:

  • Proven industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Multicraft skills, including proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.

  • Familiarity with controls knowledge, particularly PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and Allen Bradley systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
