JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applying required paints and/or primers on component parts; Mixing paints and performing viscosity checks; Maintenance/cleaning of booth and paint equipment; Minor equipment repairs of paint gun, pumps, and equipment; Wipe down or blow down parts when required; Visually inspect parts for defect, rework, or other potential flaws before and after painting; Using a wet film gage to determine proper coverage; Performing water break test; Moving parts into and out of paint booth; Logging into computer and recording time accurately for each job; Verifying counts on all parts entering and leaving the department; Creating move tickets; Operate lifting and moving devices in order to move equipment or materials so that areas to be painted are accessible.
